Talked with one of the motel owners in Gardiner the other day and she said that bookings in and around Yellowstone are maxed out for the next 5 months. The weak American dollar is making Yellowstone (and all US travel destinations) very appealing to overseas visitors. Also, the locals (i.e. Washington, Oregon, Utah, Colorado, California) are filling any vacancies left by the foreign travellers.
