Fairy Falls does flow year around and has a nice stream. I have been there early summer, late summer and late fall and have enjoyed the falls each time. Avalance Peak is the one hike I have not done in that area of the park. It is on my list to do. Someone mentioned Cascase Lake, it is a great hike, but if you are in that part of the park you just as well do Mt. Washburn as well, which is awesome. If you are staying at Grant, for sure do Elephant Back.
