It sounds like you were wanting to stay somewhere enroute to Yellowstone--like the Tetons. So, Colter Bay or Signal Mountain are places that you could stay. I agree with the former post. It is always best to call.
If there are no places to stay in the Tetons also try lodging in Yellowstone. Call.
The next plan is probably staying in West Yellowstone Montana or Gardner, which are towns that provide relatively local lodging. One can also stay in Jackson, Wyoming. Each of these towns can be googled for Lodging.
