As MO Pat says, for lodging in the park, do make reservations directly with Xanterra at www.travelyellowstone.com or call them. Lodging is pretty well filled up already, BUT if you can take the time to check several times a day, you may be able to reserve on night at a time as cancellations become available. And this becomes even more likely within a couple of weeks of arrival. I successfully managed to find affordable rooms for 9 consecutive nights in Yellowstone just a week before we arrived last September. We had to move every day and we didn't get to choose our locations, but we had a bed and a shower in the park every night and we got to do everything we wanted to do. What are your dates in the park?
