You will love Yellowstone, even if you do have some physical limitations. We visited the park in late May of 2007. I can't walk well, but do not use a scooter or chair yet. I think you will have a much easier time using your scooter to view the geysers than I did trying to walk to them. There are many boardwalks that you can easily navigate with a W.C. or scooter. If you want to see wildlife, you don't even need to leave your car. We saw many incredible animals while driving, but saw even more when we stopped at lookouts. The secret is to have patience, and don't keep driving from viewpoint to viewpoint just because nothing much seems to be happening. Early morning and late afternoon/evening are the best times to venture out. Our favorite spots were in the Hayden Valley, especially the pull-outs overlooking the river, just past the Mud Volcano area. From there, we were honored to watch two of the Hayden wolves successfully hunt an elk calf, and then watched in amazement as a large grizzly boar came over the hill and took the calf away from the wolves. We were speechless. Have a wonderful trip!
