...missing the Tetons. There's a lot more going on down there in addition to spectacular scenery - great hiking, even on the flats, and amazing wildlife-watching, especially at Oxbow Bend, just below Jackson Lake Dam in the Snake River. If you're partial to moose, that's your place!
In addition to outdoorsie things there are two worthwhile museums, the spectacular National Wildlife Art Museum (at the north end of the town of Jackson) and the American Indian Arts museum at the visitors center at Colter Bay. This photo, BTW, is of Colter Bay.
