I have stayed in Cooke and Silver gate several times. Without going into detail and reviewing the several places I have stayed I will say my favorite is the Antlers Lodge. There are several old cabins that have been leveled and have metal roofs, but still rustic. Go to the website and you can look at the cabins available and choose the one you like. price is reaasonable. Fewre tourists in Sept too. I will be in yYellowsrtone Aug.24 to late Sept.
