I guess, to me, it's not an either/or. Yellowstone is just where I have to return. Glacier is not. I'm never quite sure why. Is it the amount of places that I can see? No. Is it the scenery? not really. Is it the animals? Yes and No. I am lucky in that I was hooked when I was pretty young. So, I say. It is where my roots are.
I think Yellowstone is very dynamic. I have seen many changes. It is not static. It breathes.
Yellowstone is also a part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. And I would argue that Glacier, in essence, is a part of that. I see places around Yellowstone so I understand the whole. It is not an island. The lines were drawn, but the real lines do not begin or end at the boudary.
