We took the Beartooth for the 1st time on Sept. 25 -- lots of road construction near the top and in two long sections we had to follow a pilot car. Unfortunately, the construction was in a rather scenic area and we were unable to get out of our car to take photos. :(

I was amazed at how many people were in the Park at the end of September! Most of the campgrounds were full, including Pebble Creek and Slough Creek in Lamar. Book lodging ahead of time!!
