I was getting really depressed about increased airfares, upward creeping (or leaping) hotel charges, and now this!
One of my favorite hotels is the Yellowstone Absaroka Lodge in Gardiner. I got a kitchenette there in 2004 for $70/night, now it's up to $117. Still a bargain, and I certainly understand their increased costs - like if they don't pay the help more, the help won't be able to afford the gas to get there, not to mention much bigger heating bills, etc. - but it really brings home how high inflation has been over the last 4-5 years.
