Dear Sowmya:
If you want to have dinner at the Lake Hotel Dining Room, you need to make reservations. At Canyon, there is a Hamilton store fountain providing sandwiches, snacks, ice cream pie, soup etc. Also at Canyon there is a cafeteria serving Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Canyon cafeteria does close, I believe before the Labor Day weekend, so they might not be open when you are there all of the time. Dinner at the Lake Hotel is a real treat ( a bit expensive). They also serve lunch which is not as expensive as dinner and you probably do not need a reservation for lunch at the Lake Hotel. If you have a chance you may still be in time to hear the string quartet that plays at the Lake Hotel friday thru tuesday nights starting at around 6:30PM. Their schedule changes, so check with the Lake Hotel desk to find out when they will be performing.
