I'll be in the park late August and early September. I am coming from Texas where the temperature has been in the upper 90's in the day and low 70's at night. How cold will it be in Yellowstone? What kind of clothing will I need? I know the weather can vary tremendously there and want to be prepared. What are the chances of snow for instance? How rainy might it be? I guess I need a weatherperson. Also, where are the animals this time of the year and what are their activities? Are they at lower elevation feeding? Are they at Hayden Valley? Have they moved further south in the park? How is the fishing this time of the year?
