For information on the Beartooth Hwy try this page and link to Yellowstone Travel Guide. Then go to Around The Park, where you will find a category "Beartooth Highway" where you will find a link to a National Geographic article on the highway itself. Also, this highway is so well known that I tried a search engine, called Altavista and entered the terms "beartooth Highway" and retrieved about 8 pages worth of hits. There must be some kind of WWW information on montana roads, so a search in a search engine using terms such as "montana highways or roads" might bring up more informatiion about current road conditions.
