Road construction is perennial in Yellowstone. This year, construction will be mainly on the East Entrance Road. Other smaller construction projects will be announced by the Park Service.

With this in mind, consider the following options: extra time for delays, alternate routes, plan travel during time frames when roads are open and plan lodging around construction.
