The National Park Service announces an opportunity for interested parties to participate in a site visit of facilities operated by Xanterra Parks and Resorts in Yellowstone National Park.

The concession contract between the National Park Service and Xanterra Parks and Resorts expires on October 31, 2004. The National Park Service expects to publish a prospectus this winter that will describe the business opportunity and solicit competitive bids for the new concession contract.

Due to the complexity of the operation , seasonality, and the significant number of buildings assigned under the contract, interested parties are encouraged to participate in a tour of the facilities. The tour is scheduled for August 26, 27 and 28, 2003.
